Dr. Katie Reed grew up in St. Louis, MO, and is proud to be the first dentist in her family. Despite an early fear of the dentist, a positive dental experience in high school inspired her to pursue a career in dentistry.
Education & Training
Dr. Reed earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Kentucky, where she was a four- year member of the Wildcat softball team, achieving both All-America and Academic All- America honors. She continued her athletic career professionally with the Chicago Bandits before transitioning to dentistry.
She received her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) and Certificate in Dental Public Health from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. Graduating at the top of her class, Dr. Reed was recognized with honors in comprehensive restorative dentistry and prosthodontics.
Following dental school, she completed an advanced General Practice Residency at the Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center in Denver, where she received extensive training in oral surgery, implantology, and endodontics.
Clinical Focus & Philosophy
Dr. Reed is dedicated to delivering compassionate, high-quality, patient-centered care - whether it be relieving pain, enhancing smiles, or creating a welcoming and comfortable environment. Her clinical strengths include comprehensive restorative dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics. She looks forward to offering oral surgery and endodontic services to her patients at Golden Dental Solutions.

Outside the Office
Now based in Colorado, Dr. Reed embraces the outdoors in her free time. She enjoys skiing, mountain biking, hiking, and golfing. Weekends are often spent adventuring with family, friends, and her miniature schnauzer, Rylie.
