Natalie (EDDA-expanded duties dental assistant) was born in Orlando, FL, but spent most of her childhood in Missouri and Colorado. Natalie attended the Colorado School of Dental Assisting and graduated in 2004. After working for a few years, she enrolled in the University of Colorado School of Dentistry’s program for Expanded Duties Dental Assisting. She earned her certification in 2006. Natalie joined Dr. Gill and Dr. Kenson in 2014. She enjoys playing bass guitar, reading, gardening, and spending time with her family and pug, Dottie.
Shlonda (EDDA-expanded duties dental assistant) has been working with Dr. Gill for since 2012. She has been working as a dental assistant since 1988 and loves to exercise her education, experience and employment for the advancement of self-expression, empowerment, and excellence in dentistry. Shlonda has two lovely children and one grandchild. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her children, her dog, or watching a good movie.
Kim (hygienist) was born and raised in Santa Cruz, CA. She graduated from University of San Diego and returned to the Bay Area to study dental hygiene. She practiced hygiene in California for the last 5 years. She moved to Colorado in October of 2016 and joined Dr. Gill and Dr. Kenson’s practice. She loves being a tourist, urban hikes, and checking out all that Colorado has to offer. She’d love to hear about a few of your favorites. She’s excited to meet you and wants you to have the best experience possible at the dentist.
Shauna (hygienist) has been a part of the team since July 2008. Shauna enjoys the prevention side of dentistry and providing the tools patients need to get excited about their oral health. When not working, some of her interests are providing dental care abroad, traveling, spending time with her daughter Rory, family, friends, and being outdoors as much as possible.
Donna (hygienist) has been working with Dr. Gill since 2008 and in the practice since 2003. While Donna enjoys helping people obtain a higher level of understanding of dental disease and how they can combat it, she still thinks the best part about being a dental hygienist is meeting people. Donna is married with two teenage children. She enjoys skiing in the winter with her family and traveling in the summertime to hike or mountain bike.
Val (hygienist) is a part-time hygienist for Dr. Gill and Dr. Kenson. She has been practicing dental hygiene for four and a half years. She is a Colorado native and grew up in the Littleton area. Val is committed to helping each patient reach their oral health goals. She does her best to educate patients about the importance of oral health, in relationship to overall health. Val likes to spend her free time with her husband, James, and their 11 year old corgi, Lexi.
Kelsey (Office Manager) moved to Denver in 2012 from Sioux Falls, South Dakota and has loved Colorado ever since. She started working in the front office in April 2013. Kelsey enjoys seeing familiar, smiling faces each day and is actively pursuing dentistry herself! She enjoys being active outdoors. She also likes to take her two miniature dachshunds for walks and hikes the many trails Colorado has to offer, including 14’ers! When she is indoors, she enjoys cooking up a batch of homemade cookies. Ask about her snickerdoodle cookies…they are a hit in the office!
Kailey (receptionist) started working at this office in August 2015. Her favorite part about her work is getting to know the patients. She also loves working with a team that is all about helping people get healthy, happy smiles. In Kailey’s free time, she enjoys painting, camping, fishing, hiking, and random adventures.
Jenn (assistant) was originally born in Dallas, Texas and moved to Lakewood with her family when she was 10. She always knew that she wanted to be in dentistry. Every aspect of it interested her from the time she was a small child. She has been with our practice since May 2016. She has 19 year of dental assisting experience. Her greatest passion is getting to know each individual she works with and sharing her dental knowledge to support her patient’s dental health. When Jennifer isn’t working, she is busy playing with her two children, enjoying the mountains, or training for her next yearly race such as a triathlon or mud run.
