What are dental implants?

Then, the implant derives its strength and stability from the jaw, just as the remaining teeth do. To determine if a patient is a good fit, Dr. Nancy Gill will need to complete a series of x-rays to check the health of the jaw bone and decide if implants can be inserted successfully.
